Thank you for taking the time to plough through the documents in a challenging asylum appeal which was clearly not a straightforward case (Albanian - female - 'honour' based violence - trafficking - mental health issues). Your expert report was pivotal. The SSHD made no attempt to challenge your expert opinion, as reflected by the Immigration Judge in his determination who clearly relied heavily your report, remarking at para 103: 

"As regards the country expert report prepared by Vebi Kosumi date 6 October 2021, there has been no challenge to the author’s (impressive) credentials or expertise or the format of the report. I am satisfied that the author has relevant qualifications in order to provide expert comment on the Appellant’s case. ....". 

The case has been allowed under all heads: in accordance with the Refugee Convention, Art 2 & Art 3 ECHR on protection grounds, Article 3 ECHR on medical grounds, and Article 8 ECHR & para 276 ADE of the Immigration rules on private life grounds. Excellent work and of course, what matters most, life-changing for my client.
